We maintain two green spaces in the area on behalf of the Council.
Dagmar Wood is a small green space off Grosvenor Road which is used for community events (including regular performances by local theatre company, the Theatre of the Dales). We are working with Leeds City Council to develop this area with new planting, better seating and other features, and hope that the main work will be completed by the Autumn.
Bedford Fields hedge
We have planted and are maintaining a wild flower hedge on Bedford Fields, adjacent to City of Leeds School and have recently partnered with Leeds Pemaculture network to develop and maintain this area.
We also work closely with Woodhouse Ridge Action Group (WRAG) to maintain and improve the ridge.
Volunteers are always welcome to help with greenspace work – please get in touch with Mark Chillington (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are interested.
