Oblong Video Collective has completed a challenging project to record ideas that will shape the future of the city.

As part of The Leeds Initiative’s city wide consultation, What If Leeds, we were asked to interview representatives of many local communities. What were their needs now and how could they imagine the future were among the questions we asked.

Among the responses, Joshua from Whitecoat Primary School came up with the idea of a suction tube transport system, while the Bishop of Ripon and Leeds saw Leeds as a city at ease with itself. The video was presented to about a hundred leaders and decision formers at a lively debate held at the Leeds College of Music on Thursday the 27th January.
